Green Energy Industry Development Association (GEA), is a social organization composed of backbone forces from the Chinese new energy industry, including state-owned enterprises, listed companies, foreign-funded joint ventures, and large and medium-sized private companies in the green energy industry such as photovoltaics, energy storage, and hydrogen. It currently has more than 300 members, covering the industrial chain fields of new energy production and manufacturing, investment and development, design and construction, operation and certification,  financing leasing and Supply chain services.

The GEA mainly engages in research on domestic and international green energy industry policies, technologies, and market development trends; Provide industry research reports, industry planning consulting, business training and other services; Organize business visits, exhibitions, information exchange and other activities; And provide advice and suggestions to relevant departments of the national and local governments.

The intention of GEA is to "promote cooperation, promote innovation, and serve the world", fully integrate the power of major enterprises in the industry, promote the in-depth integration of the industry and the development of innovation, build a green energy industry ecosystem. It has established branches such as the "China Distributed Photovoltaic and Energy Storage Brand Alliance", "China Solar Tracking System Alliance", "Energy Storage Committee", "Low Carbon Services Committee"，"Hydrogen Industry Research Institute" and "Global Service Center" , to provide specialized, precise, and global services for enterprises in the green energy industry, helping them enhance their development capabilities.
